Ratings Appeals Sub-Committee

The Ratings Sub-Committee is an 8 member Sub-Committee of Business Services Committee with a remit to: Consider and determine appeals by ratepayers, against the rates claimed from them on the grounds that they are being improperly charged, in terms of Section 238 of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1947, which will include decisions of the authority in relation to applications under the Small Business Bonus Scheme (SBBS).
