Purpose

This report comprises the Committee Review
Process Stage 1 Report in connection with a Member Promoted Issue
(MPI) relating to the Newtonhill Christmas Lights.

Content

Committee agreed following a vote (6:4) that
the matter is referred to Infrastructure Services Committee as a
departure from policy to accommodate Newtonhill Road as primarily
this is the main area of footfall in the village as defined by the
community and by any objective measure. 
ISC are also requested to expedite the policy review for early
2025.
