Purpose

The application is a major development where
it may have a significant impact on more than one area. As such,
the Formartine Area Committee is being consulted before being
determined at Garioch Area Committee.

Content

Councillor Ritchie, seconded by
Councillor Johnston, moved that the Formartine Area Committee
recommend to the Garioch Area Committee that the application be
refused, on the grounds that it was contrary to Policy R2 and RD1
of ALDP23, and Policy 13 and 23 of NPF4.
 
Councillor Forsyth, seconded by
Councillor Lang, moved as an amendment that the Formartine Area
Committee recommended to the Garioch Area Committee that the
recommendations within the report be agreed.

There being an equality of
votes, the Chair cast a vote in favour of the motion, and the
recommendation to the Garioch Area Committee was that Full Planning
Permission be refused.
