Council Johnston declared an interest in Item
4 as a Trustee of the Dr Spence Memorial Hall which was in close
proximity to the application site and would have similar
implications in terms of traffic and parking.  Having applied the objective test, he advised that
he would not take part and that he would leave the meeting during
consideration of the item.
 
Councillor Johnston also declared a
Transparency Statement in relation to Item 6, as a Trustee of
Belhelvie Community Trust.  It had been
revealed at a public meeting that the group had submitted an
Expression of Interest in relation to a possible Asset Transfer of
the Balmedie Library building.  However,
having applied the objective test, in terms of the purpose of this
report, he concluded that he had no interest to declare and that he
would remain and take part in the determination of the item.
 
Councillor Hassan declared a Transparency
Statement in relation to Item 6, as the Councillor appointed by the
Formartine Area Committee to sit on the Balmedie Leisure Centre
Management Committee.  It had been
revealed at a public meeting that the group had submitted an
