Purpose

To make Area Committee aware of the new
Historic Environment Team Strategy 2025-2028. The committee are
being asked to provide comment on the content and areas of work
proposed over the Strategy period. Comments provided by all six
Area Committees will be incorporated into the final document prior
to the report being presented to Infrastructure Services Committee
(ISC) for final approval

Content

Committee agreed to provide the
following comments on the Historic Environment Team Strategy:-
 

1.        
recognise the amount and variety of work undertaken by the
Team;

 

2.         welcome
the intention to grow income generation;

 

3.         consider
whether the strategy emphasise enough the sites at risk and
approaches organisations that may be willing to take these
over.
