Purpose

This report presents the Council’s
fourth set of Equality Outcomes, which build on the current
outcomes and establish new ones. These outcomes aim to support and
continue the Council's efforts to reduce social inequality in
Aberdeenshire.

Content

The Committee
agreed to provide the following comments/requests for
further information:-
 
a)       further information
on the training provided to protected characteristics and
communities, including the uptake of training;
 
b)       further information
to clarify why there is such a drop in numbers in Foundation
Apprenticeships (Page 276) in the 2024/25 financial year;
 
c)       clarification
regarding the numbers of employees indicated in the stats on Page
216, which seems very high;
 
d)       whether there is any
scope to reduce the size of the report provided.
