Agreed:
 

1.    
to the proposed changes set out in Para 3.18 of the
report to library provision in the Aberdeenshire area for
Newtonhill Library, Balmedie Library,
Insch Library, Kintore Library, Boddam
Library, New Pitsligo Library, Strichen
Library, Cairnbulg Libraryand Rosehearty Library; with the adjustment that a
report be brought back to the meeting of the Committee on 5 June
2025 on Cruden Bay Library, Inverbervie
Library, Newmachar Library & Macduff Library.
 

2.    
to acknowledge the proposals for continuity of
direct library service delivery in each community within the scope
of the report.
 

3.    
to note that five petitions relating to libraries in
(A) Balmedie, (B) Insch, and (C) Macduff (D) New Pitsligo and
(E)  Cairnbulg  had been received in
accordance with the Scheme of Governance contained in Appendices
6  and 7 to the report, and
 

4.    
having considered the information in the petitions
during consideration of this item to take no further
action.
