Proposals for the Area Committee Budget for
2025-2026

Content

The Committee agreed to allocate:
 
(1) 
£10,500 to the fund previously known as the Improving
the Amenity of our Towns and Villages for the Benefit of All Fund,
now renamed the Improving Towns and Villages Fund.  The scheme would be run in the same format as the
previous financial year, with a proportional reduction in
allocation, 
 
(2) 
£1,500 to provide grants of up to £500 to assist
community groups with the preparation of Local Place
Plans.  Any funds not applied for by 31
October 2025 would be reallocated to the general applications
process, and
 
(3) 
£23,550 towards a general applications process, using
the revised application form and criteria as detailed at Appendix 1
of the report. 
 
The Committee also noted the 2024-25 spends,
as detailed at Appendices 2 and 3 of the report.
