Committee agreed:
 
1.   
The recommendations as per the report; and;

2.   
to provide the following comments to the Communities Committee:
 
a.   
Committee gave thanks to officers for their work with the community
in finding pragmatic solutions for library provisions in the
B&B Area. 

b.   
Committee noted concerns regarding the passage of time from the no
stand-alone library policy position agreed in 2017 to its
implementation and the current report. 
However, Committee strongly support the Service recommendation, and
exception to the policy, that Macduff Library remains
open. 

c.   
Committee noted that early collaboration with Councillors and local
communities is essential in the years ahead and encourage the
creation of and include “Friends of” Groups.
