Purpose

This report presents works and activities
based on the available funding and prioritised by Landscape
Services, for delivery within Buchan during 2025/26.

Content

Agreed (1) to approve the proposals for allocating Revenue
budget, as detailed in Appendix 1 of the report, within the Buchan
area for Landscape Services and Bereavement Services, (2) to
recommend to ISC support of the proposals in Appendix 2 for
Capital funding within the Buchan area for play parks; (3) that
should the proposals for play parks, shown within Appendix 2,be
required to change on receipt of the Annual Play Park Inspection
report, and in order not to delay in the delivery and spending of
the Scottish Government funding, delegation be given to the Head of
Environment & Sustainability to agree any changes with an
update provided to members as soon as possible, (4) to request that
Officers keep Members up to date with any improvements or changes
proposed within their Wards, (5) to request that Officers provide
feedback in relation to consultations carried out via Engage (at
this time the consultation feedback for New Deer was requested),
and (6) to request an update as to where the Service is with
participatory budgeting
