organisation’s meetings and had conversations with them but
not having discussed the particular matter.

Withey –  by virtue of knowing
various people involved in the applicant organisation and having
attended meetings and had conversations with them but not having
discussed the particular matter.
 
Having applied
the objective test, they concluded they had no interests to
declare.
