Purpose

This report seeks comments from Committee on
the draft Strategic Housing Investment Plan 2026-2031 which will be
presented to Communities Committee on 6 November 2025.

Content

To note the report and acknowledge the
challenges and complexities involved in delivery of the ambitious
plan.
 
To request further information on:

1.    
Whether there were still downsizing incentives or whether this was
something that should be considered.

2.    
Any housing provision in Deeside to enable people with particular needs to remain in their communities.

3.    
Any foundation apprenticeship opportunities through schools to
address construction skills and labour shortages.
