Purpose

This report seeks comments from Committee on
the draft Strategic Housing Investment Plan 2026-2031 which will be
presented to Communities Committee on 6 November 2025.

Content

Committee agreed to provide the
following comments to Communities Committee:
 

Does the waiting on The Housing
Demand Assessment take in all aspects such as the Scottish Index of
Multiple Deprivation (SIMD)?
It would be helpful for the
Affordable Housing Fund (Capital Plan) to be looked at with
consideration of stagnated developments within the Banff &
Buchan Area. 
Clarification is required on Top 25
Most Pressured Settlements in Aberdeenshire Table, it does not
provide the detail of focus and where investment should be
attributed. 

 
Officer agreed to provide additional
information on Developer Obligations and Empty Homes
data.
