Purpose

To provide evaluation report as part of
performance reporting arrangements to the Area Committee on the
AHSCP's Strategic Delivery Plan 2022-25, and to consult on the new
draft Strategic Plan 2025-2035.

Content

The Committee agreed:
 

the recommendations as per the
report; and

to provide the following comments to
the Integration Joint Board on the Aberdeenshire HSCP Draft
Strategic Plan for 2025-2035:

 
a)   
Ensure that they work closely with those impacted by any changes
that come forward including guardians/parents of service
users. 
b)   
Community Hospital review –take the views of our communities
on board ensuring a firm focus on Place and Community. 

c)    
The closure of the MIU has impacted on Accident and Emergency in
Aberdeen, our communities and an already under pressure ambulance
service. Ensure these factors are considered carefully and
reflected in the strategy.  –

d)   
Hospital provision - consider the strain on GP
Services in the area, knock on effects must be considered in any
review. 

e)   
Staff wellbeing and retention must be considered
going forward with the Strategic Plan and any change to
Services.
