Purpose

To provide evaluation report as part of
performance reporting arrangements to the Area Committee on the
AHSCP's Strategic Delivery Plan 2022-25, and to consult on the new
draft Strategic Plan 2025-2035.

Content

The Committee provided the following
comments:
 
a)   
The open and transparent reporting was welcomed,
b)   
It was good to see that projects were being fully costed with
consideration being given to capacity, as part of the
decision-making processes,
c)   
The trauma and stress to individuals and their families, due to
withdrawal of services, had to be acknowledged,
d)   
It was good to see the inspection feedback in relation to Ythanvale
and Dawson Court,
e)   
It would be helpful to have further detail about the recent
engagement exercise in Turriff in terms of how this was publicised
and how well attended it was,
f)     
It was noted that Men In Mind had recently carried out painting at
Ythanvale and this was welcomed as an approach to involve the
community and have interaction with the residents,
g)   
It was questioned when the Place Plan for Oldmeldrum would commence
and how early engagement would take place as there had been
discussion within the community around the recent closure of the
local care home and the implications of this,
h)   
The work being done to highlight loneliness as an issue was
welcomed,
i)     
It was acknowledged that there were wider ongoing aspirations to
improve outcomes but there was a constrained financial envelope,
and
j)     
Officers were thanked for the report and all the work they were
doing, noting that the team go above and beyond which was to be
commended.
