Purpose

This report sets out the principles of good
communications, ensuring that the Council is open and transparent
and public messaging is timely and accessible. In preparing
communications, the needs of all stakeholders will be considered
and councillors advised in advance of any major announcements, so
they are briefed and able to respond to enquiries from their
communities.
