Committee agreed to refuse Full Planning
Permission on the grounds that:-
 

a)         the
application is on a site that is not considered to be appropriate
given its proximity to the Site of Special Scientific Interest and
the impact that the proposed use may have on protected species;

 

b)         the
impact on the amenity of neighbouring properties given the
topography of the site and surrounding area; and

 

c)         concerns
regarding the drainage and management of contaminated water created
by the development.
 
The application is
therefore considered not to comply with NPF4 Policies 11e) (viii)
and 14 and LDP Policies C2, P1 and E2.
