Purpose

This report presents Aberdeenshire's Draft BSL
Plan for consideration and comment. The draft plan will be
circulated for consideration to all Area Committees as well as ECS
and IJB before BSC in April.

Content

Having considered the draft Aberdeenshire
British Sign Language Plan, agreed to make following comment to
Business Services Committee - to welcome and request that
Aberdeenshire Council continues to explore the possibility of
signing its Committee Meetings to make them more accessible to BSL
users
