Agreed (1) to hear request to
speak, (2) unanimously, that the application be delegated to the
Head of P&E to Grant Planning Permission in Principle subject
to relevant planning conditions, and (3) that the proposal is not
in accordance with National Planning Framework 4 and Aberdeenshire
Local Development Plan 2023 and therefore to accept a departure
given (a) there is a lack of suitable housing in the vicinity of
the farm of the size and quality required, (b) that the farm
buildings identified as being suitable, are now in use, and (c)
that the proposal is to position the new house equidistant to both
ends of the extend of the farm and also to livestock on the north
and south side of the A90
