The Committee noted the content of the
performance report and provided the following feedback for the
Aberdeenshire Integration Joint Board for their consideration:

1)
The committee welcomed the updates provided, in
particular those relating to Formartine,

2)
It would be helpful to know whether pharmacists are receiving
training to be able to deal with any customers who are suffering
from poor mental health,

3)
Is anything being done to alleviate the lack of staff at Westbank
Care Home and the inability to admit to full occupancy,

4)
As regards the emergency closure of the Meadows Care Home in
Huntly, with residents being admitted to Westbank Care Home,
it’s noted that feedback from the families was very positive
and thanks is given to the staff,

5)
What support services can we put in place when there is a challenge
to balance palliative care and other types of care, due to lack of
staffing, and is there care at home for those who require it?

6)
Cognisance is given to the challenging times being faced by the
service, and

7)
In noting that Ellon Day Opportunities is listed under key
successes, thanks and recognition is given to these staff.
