Committee agreed to provide the following
comments to Business Services Committee:-
 

1.       would
like to see mention made of military personnel moving to civilian
life;

 

2.       would
like further information to be provided regarding targets for damp,
condensation and mould;

 

3.      
paragraph 3.10 and 3.33 cover the same
information, should 3.10 be removed?

 

4.      
consideration should be given to people who are able to pay for
Care and Repair works being able to do this;

 

5.      
consideration should be given as to whether the resettlement scheme
should be specifically mentioned on the basis that resettled
residents are treated in the same ways as everyone else;

 

6.      
consideration should be given to identifying funding to support the
purchase of camera doorbells for residents impacted by local
criminal activity;

 
7.       would like to see
the IIA reviewed to take account of the following:-
 

a)      
section 4.3 - review the wording to improve the clarity

b)      
section 6.2/6.3 additional wording is required to support the
statements made

c)      
section 4 – question how the UN Convention on the Rights of
the Child being included ensures that children get shelter;

d)      
section 7 - ensure that the narrative provided directly relates to
the title of the section
