a)
The placing of public access defibrillators on
school walls – we need to ensure that there are minimum
height requirements for such placements,

b)
We need to ensure there is clear agreement over the
community being responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the
defibrillators,

c)
Would any funds be available to communities to
assist with the ongoing maintenance costs that they are responsible
for,

d)
Thanks to officers for all their efforts to assist
communities in ensuring the defibrillators are located in the best
place,

e)
We need to take cognisance of the consultation that
was carried out, and ensure that community groups are aware of the
report that’s come forward to the Formartine Area Committee
today, and

f)
We need to make sure that wider communities are
aware of where defibrillators are sited, taking cognisance of the
fact that the ambulance service should be contacted in the first
instance as they know which devices are live.
