Decision

Following a vote (6:2), agreed to GRANT for the following reason:

The proposed replacement of a solid timber panelled door with a composite door is considered to be appropriate at this location and is not out of character with the quality and appearance of the building, and would not have a negative impact upon the Huntly Conservation Area and therefore does comply with Policy P1: Layout, siting and design, Policy P3 Infill Developments within Settlements and Householders Developments (including home and work proposals), and Policy HE2: Protecting Historic, Cultural and Conservation Areas of the Aberdeenshire Local Development Plan 2023 nor Policy 7 Historic assets and places, Policy 14 Design, quality and place, and Policy 16 Quality homes of the National planning Framework 4.
