The Clinical and Adult Social Work Governance Committee of Aberdeenshire Council decided to approve the Aberdeenshire Drug and Alcohol Service Staffing and Redesign on 24 June 2026. The committee noted current staffing challenges and progress on service redesign, and agreed that officers are taking steps to mitigate risks. Officers will develop a project charter, streamline the steering group, expedite terms of reference, and create an engagement and communication plan.
