Agreed to provide following comments on the draft
Heating Policy to Business Services Committee (1) at para 6.3 there
is a link to Guidance and Procedures which appear to date back to
Covid, this needs to be reviewed, (2) where there is reference to
swimming pool temperatures, consideration needs to be given to the
overall temperature in and outwith the
pool, (3) where reference is made to ‘tonnes of carbon
dioxide equivalent’ there is a need to be specific, and (4)
that consideration be given to school heating hours to be more
aligned to staff starting/finishing times
