To provide the following
comments on the draft Donations Policy:

(1) 
With reference to 5.16 of the policy, there may be
issues if communities were wishing to raise funds to be used for a
specific purpose.

(2) 
Questioned why there were differences between who
was authorised to accept donations and who was authorised to
decline donations.

(3) 
Requested further clarity on the distinction between
statutory and non-statutory activities, with particular reference
to parent councils raising funds for schools. Would like to see
barriers reduced.

(4) 
Requested further clarification in relation to
property/land donations.
