Agreed to advise Communities Committee that
the BAC welcomed and approved the draft reports, and gave thanks to
the Team for their hard work.
Further agreed (1) to acknowledge the
Homestart Case Study, particularly in
terms of how to effectively seek information from parents who have
children with additional needs and that there is a requirement to
recognise that there is an immediate lifestyle change for that
family which requires a complete care package to be put in-place as
soon as possible, (2) to request that Officers provide Members with
the SGovmt documents relating to
‘Employability’, (3) having noted the Transport Review
and the need to explore further ‘what can be done to
help’, (a) to highlight the need to focus on accessible
transport and to request that Officers meet with colleagues from
Transportation to evidence what the community needs are in advance
of any potential funds becoming available, and (b) that Officers
look into the costs, benefits, service use of the previously used
Buchan Circular and current A to B Service, and (4) to request that
an informal session be arranged for TPI Officers to meet with the
BAC in due course
