Provided the following comments to Landscape
Services:
 

a)   
The paper does not reflect the challenges the Service is facing, we
need to discuss these issues with our communities, to reflect the
reality of what we can do,

b)   
Councillors are not being included in wider consultations,

c)   
There needs to be more engagement with Councillors and communities,
to cultivate efforts,

d)   
Services need to be “can do” and work with our
communities as much as they can,

e)   
We need to take cognisance of what our Services do that
aren’t often recognised,

f)     
The new method of cutting immediately adjacent to paths and leaving
the surrounding areas untouched is welcomed, bringing colour and
biodiversity, and

g)   
We need to take a strategic look at what we need to cut, noting
that areas such as cemeteries, parks and the entrances to towns and
villages may need more care.
