Service to provide details on care and repair awards
to support independent living;

(2) 
Housing need and waiting list by ward to be
provided, in order to correlate to the direction of the Housing
Strategy;

(3) 
Commend staff in working especially with
homelessness and Empty Houses;

(4) 
Comments to Communities Committee as
follows:

Need to ensure that any disposal of property should not impact
negatively on homelessness prevention;
Endorse ongoing work of service with private owners to bring
empty houses back into housing use; and
That consideration be given to impact of future influx of
temporary and permanent workers on the housing chain/
supply.
