Purpose

A proportion of Crown Estate Scotland Net
Revenue funding awarded to Aberdeenshire Council is delivered
through a Coastal Communities Challenge Fund (CCCF). An application
round has recently taken place and recommendations for grant
approvals have been received from the North East Scotland Fisheries
Local Action Group (NESFLAG) which oversees the scheme. If agreed,
the recommendations would result in some organisations receiving
£50,000 or more in funding from Aberdeenshire Council over a
three-year period. Awards of this scale are reserved to Committee,
which is therefore being requested to decide upon these
applications.
