Purpose

The Head of Planning and Economy has the power
under Section F.4.6 of Part 2B List of Officer Powers in the Scheme
of Governance to respond to consultations on applications from the
Scottish Government. He has decided not to exercise the delegated
power in this particular case due to the scale and nature of the
proposed development

Report has already been monitored and finalised to go to previous
Area Committee’s therefore no further monitoring is
required.

Content

Committee agreed:-
 
1.       Officer
recommendations as detailed in the report;
 
2.       to provide the
following comments to ISC;
 

a)       If it
falls within the remit of the Council, that further information be
provided to ISC to assist in identifying the risk of wind and water
borne pollution if the ground is disturbed by the Developer;
and

 

b)       to
acknowledge and highlight the significant work done by local
communities in relation to the application
