Purpose

This report requests Members' consideration of
(a) information on the Health and Social Care Partnership
(HSCP)’s performance in terms of progress against its
Strategic Delivery Plan, and (b) the Formartine HSCP Team update on
local health and social care issues and priorities.

Content

The Committee agreed the recommendations
within the report and provided the following comments to the
Integration Joint Board for their consideration:

a)   
The Friends of Turriff Hospital have made tremendous efforts to
raise funds for their local facility,

b)   
Discharge Without Delay will require ongoing efforts,

c)   
As regards the delays in recruiting to pharmacy vacancies, it would
be helpful to know what impact this will have on the Formartine
area, and

d)   
Following the agreed closure of the Westbank Care Home, the
Formartine Area Committee are supportive of exploration of the
preservation of services in the area.
 
The Committee also requested an overview of
all GP practices within the Formartine area, in terms of who they
are run by and when they are open.
