Purpose

Formartine Area Committee are being asked to
consider the Strategic Housing Investment Plan 2025-2030, which is
effectively a five year plan for affordable housing in
Aberdeenshire and provide comment to Communities Committee.

Content

The Committee provided the following comments
to Communities Committee:

a)   
The report was very interesting and was welcomed,

b)   
Rapid Rehousing was welcomed, as was works assisting with Complex
Care,

c)   
The report highlighted the huge demand across Formartine and whilst
it was a shame that we were such a way off meeting our
community’s needs, it was noted that the Service was doing
all it could, and the improvements to housing stocks over the last
few years was very welcomed.
