A draft repose to the Call for Views on the
amendments to the National Care Service Bill for consideration by
the IJB prior to submission.

Noted recommendation 1 should have stated
‘to approve the IJB response’.
 
Further text was provided by officers to
Section 7 on Children’s services.
 
Concerns expressed around a number of issues
including lack of detail, lack of clarity on funding and lack of
funding, lack of consideration of the importance of localism, and
the need for further discussion.

After discussion, agreed to delegate to Chief Officer in
consultation with Chair and Vice Chair to reflect the views of the
meeting in finalising the response for submission and that a copy
of the response should be circulated to IJB members.
