Members welcomed the report and were
supportive of the Asbestos Drop Off scheme. Members queried whether
if there was a possibility of grant funding for those on low income
to have better access to an asbestos drop off site. Members were
advised that this is not an option as the policy position is to
charge the individual to ensure full cost recovery.
