Joint Overview & Scrutiny Committee

The Joint Overview & Scrutiny Committee (JOSC) reviews the work and decisions of the Joint Strategic Committee (Joint Cabinets) and Executive Members, acting similarly to Parliamentary Select Committees. It examines issues affecting Adur and Worthing residents and the services they receive, monitors budgets and performance, and helps develop or review policies. The JOSC does not make decisions but influences those who do by considering major issues and recommending service improvements. Residents can suggest review topics by submitting request forms or contacting local councillors.
