Worthing Licensing and Control Sub Committee A

The Worthing Licensing and Control Sub Committee A is responsible for a range of licensing and enforcement functions for Adur and Worthing, excluding matters of policy and those covered by the Licensing Act 2003 and Gambling Act 2005. It determines applications and issues licences, consents, or permits for hackney carriages and private hire, caravan sites, animal welfare, street trading, and public protection. The committee also considers applications for sex establishments if deemed appropriate by the Director of Communities.
