A temporary giant wheel will be erected on the
dedicated ferris wheel plinth situated
adjacent to the promenade, opposite Marine Place. This land which
belongs to Worthing Borough Council (WBC) and is subject to usual
planning, engineering and events licensing scrutiny  Subject to local planning regulation,
transportation and weather factors, the wheel is expected to be
installed in mid-March 2025 and then to vacate at the end of
September 2025.  Dates are approximate
at this stage.
 
The wheel is owned and managed by City
Observations Ltd, who provided the same wheel successfully in
2024.  Tickets to ride the wheel will be
managed solely by City Observations Ltd.  The area used by the wheel will be leased by WBC
to City Observations for the duration, on a Tenancy at Will
basis.  The wheel will operate alongside
all other events and activities happening along the Promenade,
during the time of operation.
