To award the contract for the construction of
Montague Place/Gardens public realm scheme to Edburton Contractors Ltd, following a procurement
exercise, in the sum of £1,740,210.65 plus VAT. The works
will include the creation of a new open space featuring a sun deck,
30 new trees, sustainably planting, a bespoke ‘kelp
garden’ play area, bench seating and cafe culture dining
areas, replacing the temporary scheme completed in 2022.
