Connaught Theatre and Studio, Portland House.
This has been procured through the NHS
framework as a direct award in accordance with our contract
standards and Procurement team have approved and overseen the
process.
Reasons for the decision
Decision made to direct award the contract to
Paine Manwaring due to the time constraints of the project and also
due to the fact that Paine Manwaring have extensive knowledge of
the heat network, WBC buildings and are also completing works on
other aspects of the project.
Alternative options considered
Considered resource internally but there is
none currently available due to the volume of other
projects. The project cannot be delayed
due to timescales of funding.
An open tender application could not be
completed due to the time constraints on the funding.
