To award the works contract to Landbuild Ltd
following a tendering exercise, to undertake the remedial works to
the failed revetment mat on Kingston Beach, Southwick in the sum of
£27,005.98 plus VAT. Whilst the tender figure is
significantly lower than the budget, further wash out has occurred
to the revetment in the meantime which will increase the overall
cost of the works. The works will prevent further revetment mat
failure and erosion, making the area safer for the public.
