Approve the expenditure for a compulsory
redundancy and settlement agreement resulting from the
restructuring of the Bereavement Service Management Team in which
two posts were deleted and note the proposal to create one new role
set out at Paragraph 3.5 of this report.
 
Approve the costs associated with the
settlement agreement which are £28,520.17 plus payment in
lieu of notice £10,142.69, outstanding annual leave
£1793.41 and a pension contribution of
£983.80.  The annual savings (in
salary and on-costs) are £57,129.

Reasons for the decision
