Purpose

Full consultation in writing,
in person, via email or by telephone with; Planning Services
Manager (including planning consents), Senior Engineer (and team),
Senior Coastal Warden (and team), Legal Services, Democratic
Services, Worthing Cabinet Member for Culture & Leisure,
Worthing Cabinet Member for the Environment and Worthing Cabinet
Member for Regeneration.  All
co-ordination has been conducted by the Place & Economy
Business Manager and Place Activation Officer.

A temporary observation wheel will be erected
at The Beacon Area on Worthing Borough Council’s (WBC)
Promenade with an intention for it to be on site from June to be
reviewed in November 2024. The wheel is owned and managed by City
Observations Ltd.  Tickets to ride the
wheel will be managed solely by City Observations Ltd.  The area used by the wheel will be leased by WBC
to City Observations on a Tenancy at Will basis.  The wheel will operate alongside all other events
and activities happening along the Promenade, during the time of
operation.
