To issue the First Homes Authority to Proceed
and confirm eligibility for the above-named applicants in
accordance with the terms of the Section 106 Agreement relating to
planning reference BE/1/23/RES.

Reasons for the decision

The applicants meet both the National and
Local Eligibility Criteria set out in the Section 106 Agreement for
the First Homes scheme, including:

• Being first-time buyers;
• Having a household income not exceeding £80,000 per
annum;
• Meeting the local residency criteria by virtue of current
and previous permanent residence in the Arun District;
• Securing a qualifying mortgage from Halifax;
• Purchasing at a price not exceeding £250,000 with a
38.5% discount off full market value.

Alternative options considered

None. The applicants met all applicable
national and local eligibility criteria. There were no grounds for
refusal.
