Following the TUPE transfer of the Account
Manager from Cardo to Arun District Council (ADC) Housing—as
part of bringing the Reactive Repairs Contract back
in-house—it was determined that this role is not required
within ADC from an organisational perspective.

• The role primarily focused on managing the relationship
between the client (ADC) and the contractor to ensure effective
delivery of reactive repairs.
• As ADC has now become the direct provider, this
client-contractor relationship no longer exists.
• Operational staff who transferred under TUPE were
successfully integrated into established ADC Housing teams under
existing management structures at lower levels.
• As a result, the Account Manager role was confirmed as
redundant following the completion of consultation on 10 June
2024.
