Approval of Data Sharing Agreement between
Saxon Weald and Arun District Council for the purpose of sharing
personal data related to housing, tenancy management, welfare
benefits, safeguarding, environmental matters, crime prevention,
and general housing support. The data will be shared on a
need-to-know basis and for the specified purposes as outlined in
the agreement. The types of data to be shared include personal
information such as name, address, date of birth, family details,
health information, tenancy history, and personal
circumstances.

Reasons for the decision

This decision ensures that the two
organisations can collaborate efficiently in supporting tenants
during Housing nominations as part of the Housing Register whilst
managing housing-related matters, such as welfare benefits, tenancy
management, safeguarding, and crime prevention. It establishes a
framework for sharing data securely and responsibly, in compliance
with relevant data protection laws.
