Release the funds to Arundel Community Land
Trust to assist them in delivering Affordable Housing in the Parish
of Arundel

Reasons for the decision

The remaining Affordable Housing funds
collected from the S106 on AB/140/10 are restricted to spend only
in the parish of Arundel or adjacent parishes. The fund has been on
deposit for around 10 years and although there is no spend by date
on the S106 and therefore no risk of refund, it is reasonable to
expect this should have been spent by now on an Affordable Housing
project. The Housing Enabling Officer is happy to allow the Arundel
CLT to have the funds as it has proved extremely difficult for
Housing to spend such a small amount themselves.
