In accordance with our delegated authority at
Part 7, Management Structure, Delegations and Authorisations
– Section 1 – Chief Executive’s Scheme of
Authorisations, Paragraph 1.6 of the Council’s Constitution,
we have authorised the affixing of the Common Seal to the Honorary
Alderman certificate to be awarded to former Councillor Jim Brooks
at a Special Council meeting on 16 July 2025.

The proposal to confer the title of Honorary Alderman on this
former councillor has been agreed with Group Leaders.
