To authorise and instruct solicitors on
issuing a new lease for a term of 3 years for use as a seasonal
sauna.

The lease will include a mutual break clause at year 1 which
provides ADC with some control should the needs arise.

Reasons for the decision

This decision is in accordance with our
disposal policy, as documented within ADC Asset Management
Strategy.

The granting of this new lease provides the Council with a new
income stream of £7,500pax.

It will also provide Bognor Prom with an alternative offering which
may drive some alternative footfall.

Alternative options considered

The site has been marketed with limited
interest and the offer from Luna Hut was circa £1,500pa more
than the previous offer.

The lease will include a mutual break option which provides the
Council with the ability to terminate the lease, should the need
arise.
