To proceed with the purchase of Plot xxx at
Avisford Grange, Walberton, for Arun District Council. Legal
services have been instructed to carry out all necessary legal work
including title review, contract negotiation, exchange, completion,
and registration. The estimated legal costs are £2,000 plus
VAT, with disbursements including searches, Land Registry fees, and
bank transfer charges.

Reasons for the decision

The acquisition of this property supports Arun
District Council’s strategic housing objectives. The purchase
is part of the Council’s ongoing programme to increase its
housing stock and provide affordable homes for local residents. The
